NSS Agency needed to evolve its street style archive from a simple photo gallery into an interactive hub connecting streetstyle photography with editorial content, fashion show calendars, and city guides. The main challenge was designing a system that allows users to navigate seamlessly across thousands of images, articles, and locations without losing context or feeling overwhelmed.

The goal: turn a visual repository into a connected ecosystem where every photo becomes a gateway to deeper discovery.

Discovery & Research
Analyzed the existing nss archive structure and its content ecosystem (nss magazine, Fuorimoda, nss edicola). Studied the platform's 90,000+ image archive to understand tagging patterns and content relationships. Mapped user behaviors during fashion week periods to identify how audiences consume streetstyle content across cities and seasons.

UX Strategy
Built the experience around a relational content model with six interconnected entities: Photo, Article, City, Brand, Event, and Place. Designed a lateral navigation system where users never need to go back, as every screen offers contextual exits to related content. Introduced a persistent Grid/Map/Events switcher that lets users shift between visual, spatial, and temporal exploration of the same content while maintaining active filters.

UI Design
Designed a mobile-first interface featuring a dynamic filterable feed with smart brand search, an immersive photo detail view enriched with clickable brand and trend tags that drive cross-content discovery, and an interactive map layering fashion shows, streetstyle locations, and Fuorimoda city guide points on a single geographic view. Developed a mini design system with typography, color palette, dark mode, and custom filter components.

Result
An information architecture that transforms a static photo archive into a living editorial platform, where streetstyle, journalism, and utility converge. A system designed so that every entry point, whether a photo, a trend, or a pin on a map, leads to unexpected discovery.
